"I spent ten years in a call center position and thirty nine years in sales. I took a great deal of pride in how I did my job. My attitude was to always put the customer's needs before my own. That attitude was what permeated and ruled in every call. Every customer who got off the phone after talking to me was smiling because I made sure of it (that was a lot of phone calls in 10 years). I didn't want them to hesitate in calling again because they would be afraid of getting me. Usually, in a call center, most calls that come in are upset or angry people about something. Because of my disabilities, I can no longer work outside my home. Thrive has become a very important part of my life. You guys are my business partners!! I wanted to write this letter to you so you can know what it is I hear on the other side of what you hear in the call center every day. The coaches that are answering my phone calls have always been professional, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient in what they are doing. They never make me feel stupid for asking the kind of questions that to them were probably obvious. They are so willing to help with showing me shortcuts and giving me great ideas to help _/*succeed.*/_ . As you all know, that is the greatest fear most people have in starting a new business. We all read the stats on those poles (which I am beginning to wonder if those stats are there just to discourage people and say the first, "I told you so.") Now I said all that to say this. The quality of people you have working for you really SHINES through each of them. Every one of them ALWAYS has gone the extra mile to get me to the best solutions. I can tell that their training has been excellent. I couldn't have trained them better myself in the quality of their customer service skills. My hope is this, I know this is a new company and everyone is excited and really wants to do well in all they do. I can see this. I hope that in 5 years, 10 years they will still have this same quality of excitement when those calls are coming in then. That's the difference between good quality people and just good training. But for now, I am most fortunate because I have you all with me now. I only hope they see how fortunate they are to be working for men like Matt and yourself. You also need to know I have need to say a special thanks to Mike and Malla. Malla spent a lot of his patience on me one day and never made me feel like I was a nuisance to him. I was having trouble trying to get the text to wrap around a picture I wanted to keep on my home page. He worked very hard and never sounded exasperated. I believe I called him several times that day because I kept messing up what he had just fixed. He was awesome. Mike is very special to me too. I can trust him with anything. Why I know I can say this about him is because he cared enough for me to say, "I really don't like your website." He spoke the truth to me without any malice in his voice. He also made me understand right up front that he knew what he was talking about. I soon found out he did. What an asset you have in this man. I hope everyone treats the tech dept. with the utmost respect because they are making what the coaches are teaching virtually happen in real time. WOW!
